ALL OUR CHILDREN SPEAKING ENGLISH

Ignacio Diego, whose right wing party has won the ellections in Cantabria, states that English language is not just another subject, but a way of living in the World.
According to what he promises all students will:
-       achieve A2 level (elemental) at the end of Primary Education
-       achieve B1 level (Intermediate) at the end of Secondary Education
-       achieve B2 level (Higher Intermediate) at the end of Bachillerato
Our target is to be better prepared,” he says.
They propose the following items for every school:
    -       5 English hours a week
   -       More money dedicated to teachers to learn English language
    -       To have more subjects taught in English
  -       To have more language assistants

By these means our students will be able to compete in the World.”

Now we have to see if this comes true are just other political promises.

LONDON TRIP 2011

Last March, some students of Bachiller went to London four days. There, we enjoyed a lot walking on the streets, seeing some museums like the Natural History Museum or the British Museum and visiting the most famous places (Piccadilly, Hyde Park, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey…) where we took a lot of photos. Furthermore, we had free time that we spent doing some purchases on Oxford Street, before that I couldn’t imagine the amount of shops that there are on it.
Also, we had to mix with London citizens because our teachers prepared us a questionnaire in order to know more things about the British culture.
The only negative aspect for me is not going to Camden Market because we hadn't got enough time.
In conclusion, it was a fantastic trip, and if I had the opportunity of repeating it, definitely I will.
